After many years of thorough testing, I’m dishing on some of lululemon’s best kept secrets. This includes the yoga essentials and some pieces you probably didn’t expect. I practice yoga everyday and teach multiple times a week so it’s important that everything I wear stays put and feels comfortable. The gear I wear also needs to perform in the forest, on high mountain peaks, or while exploring other remote areas. Luckily, lululemon covers all of those bases and often exceeds my expectations. So, if you’ve been looking to invest in yourself with quality pieces for yoga, the outdoors, and everyday life, then you’re in the right place. I think you’ll be really impressed by these picks and I’m confident they’ll make it onto your favourite lululemon list too. A heads up for transparency: I’m part of the lululemon creator network and will receive a commission if you make a purchase through the links below. Check out some of my favourite outfits below.

The Best Outfit for the Pacific Northwest: a lululemon Rain Jacket and the quinessential lululemon align pant.

best rain jacket and favourite lululemon yoga pants

For rainy day walks and cozy afternoons this combo won’t disappoint. The lululemon Rain Rebel Jacket is a great layering piece with a flattering fit (think synching and pockets in the right places) that’ll keep you dry, especially during the spring and fall months. The lululemon Align Pants are buttery soft and a tall girl’s dream. Although this will fit petite women, the stretch of these pants is perfect if you’re over 5’9 (I’m 6’2 and they have an amazing fit). I also really appreciate the comfortable, high rise fit for yoga, running errands, or lounging at home. This is one of my “must-haves” from lululemon that everyone needs a pair of.

The Sonic Pink Trend I Didn’t Expect To Love: The Must-Have Tank Top and Shorts for Spring and Summer

favourite lululemon outfit barbie-core pink

The “Barbie-Core” trend seems to be all the rage these days (I imagine thanks to the upcoming Barbie movie?). I was skeptical at first, but wearing this outfit had me instantly persuaded. The Strappy Nulu Shelf Tank Top and Wunder Train High-Rise Short combo is comfortable, versatile, and offers lots of great features. The tank is buttery soft with a built in bra and cute cropped fit while the shorts are very breathable and stay in place, which is a top priority in my yoga practice and ideal for any activity.

You won’t want to miss the accessories of this outfit..

I fell in love with the Restfeel Slides, a pair of sandals that feel like walking on a cloud. lululemon is new to the shoe game but you would never know with these on your feet. They’re one of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn and with a 30 day money back guarantee, you’ll be glad you tried them.

The Both Ways Bucket Hat is a lightweight, reversable bucket hat that makes a great accessory to keep the sun off your face for spring and summer. It’s perfect for everyday wear, making this an item you’ll want more than one of.

Last but certainly not least, the Everywhere Belt Bag. This easy-to-wear bag carries everything you need with all the right pockets and is arguably, one of the most popular items lululemon sells—and for good reason. I take this with me everywhere; the studio, errands, and anywhere else you can use an extra pocket or two. It’s just right for a cell phone, some keys, and a few cards—even a pair of sunglasses. This is an accessory you’ll probably want in multiple colours.

The lululemon Covertable High Rise Jogger is one you’ll find me in for hiking, climbing, and yoga.

These versatile pants have lots of pockets, they’re lightweight and comfortable, plus you can CONVERT them into shorts (or back into pants). This feature has really helped me while climbing and hiking so I can regulate my temperature. If you’re someone who has an active, outdoor lifestyle, you’ll fall in love with these pants. There’s a reason I own two pairs and often wash them multiple times a week.

Here’s the original lululemon Convertable High Rise Jogger but they’re very popular, so here’s a few similar pieces:

Cargo High Rise Hiking Pant (they’re on sale!)

Cargo Super High Rise Hiking Tight

WovenAir High Rise Hiking Short (the shorts version!)

I don’t have a picture of this one, but you’d be missing out without trying lululemon’s Another Mile Vest.

This layering piece is one that I bring for nearly everything, all year round. Hiking in the mountains? Check. Splitboarding in the backcountry? Check. Need an extra layer for camping? Check. It’s so verstatile and packs up for everything I need. Plus, it uses Primaloft, a technology that is animal friendly (vegan) and dries so quick, the military uses it too. There’s a big reason why this is in on my favourite lululemon list: I bring it with me for almost everything. I didn’t think I’d use this piece as much as I do, but now I can’t imagine adventures without it. It’s easy to pair with the Swiftly Tech Long Sleeve which I use all the time, year round, as a layering piece. This breathable piece is great for hiking or as a baselayer during the colder months.

You can find the Another Mile Vest here.

A similar style (if it’s sold out) is the Push Your Pace Vest which has many of the same features, including Primaloft.

And last but certainly not least, everyone needs a good pair of socks. These are my go-to choice for all my sweaty activities. They’re comfortable, breathable, and stay in place when it matters. Check out my favourite socks here.
